Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) holders who have self-certified EA (Excepted Intrastate) and have a K restriction on their license must update their medical certification status before July 1, 2026, or their CDL will be downgraded. If a medical downgrade has been applied, our county issue site will not be able to help with the CDL renewal and applicants will need to visit a State Exam Station.
